All of us at Yellow Cab Co-op are dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community through environmentally sound business decisions, volunteer work, sponsorships and charitable giving to organizations that embody our values.
From June 4-10, 2006, for my 4th Year, I'm planning on participating in AIDS/LifeCycle. It's a 7-day, 585-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.

Yet, with less than a week before my deadline and a $2,500 fundraising minimum to participate, I'm definitely going to need your help. (I'm approximately $1,000 short).

Sometimes we want to help others, but we are so overwhelmed by all that needs to be done in this world that we don't know where to start.

We hope that tomorrow or next week, when everything calms down, we will be able to become the actively compassionate human beings we know we can be.

We put off goodness like we put off going on a diet.

Help me support the San Francisco AIDS Foundation by giving what you can. Whether you give up the price of a coffee - $2.00 or $2,000 . . .every penny will get me closer to being on the road with my 2,000 fellow cyclist.

We'll keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past. So click here and pledge online ....

Let's work together and create a better world,

Mobility in the structures of the upper spine, ribs and shoulder girdle allows the chest to open, while restriction in these areas can affect the neck, shoulders, arms, spine, and limit the ability to do many asanas.

Iyengar Yoga teacher, Nora Burnett will work both in supported and unsupported poses to release restricting tightness and progress into more active work to increase the sense of an inner lift of the chest.

Attention will be given to the breath as a means to find the space in the chest, an intelligent strength in the musculature, and a receptive quality of attention.
